The Better Software Company ranked “Category Leader” by GetApp
We are excited to announce The Better Software Company was just named one of the top Category Leaders for operations management software in 2017 by GetApp.
With more than 120 products, platforms and applications listed in the category, we managed to rank among the top 15, and we’re only getting better.
GetApp’s Category Leader rankings showcase the top cloud-based business apps for 27 different product categories to help potential users make informed, confident decisions.
Exceptional. Software is super easy to use. Any level user can feel comfortable clicking though. Customer support is excellent.
The ranking is based on five categories each worth up to 20 points for a maximum score of 100 and ensures the ranking is completely independant of any connections GetApp may have to the companies being assessed.
1. User reviews– based on the number, average rating, and recency of reviews
2. Integrations– based on native integrations listed on GetApp the availability of an API, and Zapier integration
3. Mobile– based on the availability and rating (from Google Play and App store) of an Android and iOS app, or the mobile responsiveness of its web app
4. Media Presence– based on the number of followers on Twitter and fans on Facebook
5. Security– based on a security survey developed by GetApp, modeled on the Cloud Security Alliance self-assessment form.
For each section, GetApp takes different factors into consideration. Reviews, for example are prioritized based on recency. With the constant updates that go along with cloud-based software, a review published years ago shouldn’t hold as much weight as one published yesterday because the information is out of date. For integrations, it’s important to find a balance between a popular few and a wide variety. And for mobile, although not every platform needs a dedicated app, it’s important to accommodate mobile users when 80% of internet usage is expected to be mobile by next year.
